S1 E3: Anarchist Organizing & Community Care with Lucy Bloom

In Episode 3, host Jessie Sage sits down with author, sex worker, and anarchist organizer Lucy Bloom to dive deep into what putting anarchist philosophy into action looks like on a political, social, and personal level.

They discuss anarchism as an anti-hierarchical, anti-racist, and anti-capitalist movement. Lucy and Jessie also share their personal experiences of caretaking and the events that led to their radicalization.

From distinguishing between the legalization and decriminalization of sex work to touching on the politics of prison abolition to sharing personal anecdotes about the caretaking experience for cancer survivors, this episode is packed with something for everyone.

Lucy Bloom is a writer, educator, sex worker, and anarchist organizer. She is the author of one memoir, and has essays published in Bitch, In These Times, Autostraddle, The Baffler, among many others. She is also mama to two perfect black cats.
